My name is Mandy Miller. I'm a Mama to three amazing children...Dahlia was born in 2004, Maya in 2007, and Miles in 2012.
We're and easy-going family that can appreciate the simple things in life. We love to be outdoors enjoying nature and taking weekend road trip together. In my free time I enjoy yoga, craft projects, sewing, photography, and reading.
I grew up in Berkshire County where I was the 'Community Babysitter' and led many children's art classes. I moved to Eastern Mass in 2002 so I could pursue a career in education and soon found myself working as an Assistant Teacher in an alternative learning center. Working in a classroom setting was a wonderful experience for me and I continued teaching until my first daughter was born. After giving birth, I decided I wanted to stay home and start a daycare of my own.
I'm a very kind and patient person who loves being around children. Each day, there is something new and exciting for my daycare children to learn or experience, and its rewarding for me to know that I was a part of it. I'm not a perfect person nor do I strive to be, but I love my job and I know that I do it well. I'm always looking for ways to improve my program or environment and love receiving feedback from parents. I frequently enroll in classes and workshops related to child development to better my career.
